If you've completed your American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, or First Aid course online and need to fulfill the in-person skills evaluation portion to receive your certification card—Essential Healthcare Services offers fast, professional AHA Skills Check-Offs that meet all national and employer standards. Our instructors are AHA-certified and provide a supportive, low-pressure environment to walk you through the required hands-on scenarios for your course. Once you demonstrate competency, we issue your official AHA eCard within 24 hours. What Is a Skills Check-Off? A skills check-off is the required in-person component of AHA’s blended learning courses. After you complete your HeartCode® or online module through AHA, you must perform a skills demonstration with an AHA Training Site to finalize your certification. We offer check-offs for: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Heartsaver® First Aid / CPR / AED Already Purchased Your Course Through EHS? Good news! If you enrolled in a blended learning course directly through EHS, your hands-on skills check-off is already included in your course price—no additional purchase necessary. You’ll be scheduled for your check-off after completing the online module. This Service Is For: Students who purchased their AHA online course elsewhere (e.g., from the AHA website or employer) Individuals who need only the skills validation to complete their certification Individuals with lapsed cards who completed the HeartCode® renewal What to Bring: Proof of completion of the AHA online module (eLearning certificate) A valid government-issued photo ID
